A school is not an island. We function in close collaboration with our stakeholders. Since, its inception in early 1900’s as separate boys and girls schools, thousands of Grammarians have made an impact around the globe.

This page/website is setup by former Grammarians as part of their giving back to the school and in arranging for the 2020 Celebrations.

The vision of SGS Diamond Jubilee 2020  is to assist with the provision of enhanced teaching and learning for current and future students of Suva Grammar and help in the maintenance and renovation of the Suva Grammar School buildings at Veiuto through Project Grammar 2020.

The website is also to promote our SGS Old Scholars 60th Anniversary celebration in Suva in 2020 and make it the greatest ever!!

This website is one information platform for a gallery of past events, plans for the celebration of Suva Grammar School’s Diamond Jubilee in 2020 and news on Project Grammar 2020.

Project Grammar 2020 will not succeed without the invaluable help and participation and donations of all Old scholars of Suva Girls Grammar School, Suva Boys Grammar School and Suva Grammar School.

If we assume that an average of 1,000 students a year attended Suva Grammar, then there are some 60,000 ex-scholars of Suva Grammar now living in many countries around the world, including our beloved Fiji.

We invite you all to subscribe to our email list by entering your name and email into the optin form in the right hand column of this page . You’ll receive regular updates on the SGS Diamond Jubilee and Project Grammar 2020 .
